# Inbound lead qualification

Torke Qualification is a Torke Node, one part of Torke Engine, and you can buy or rent it on its own. It reads every inbound lead in English, French, German or Italian, scores it with rules your team can check, and answers in the lead's language with meeting times that are free on the rep's calendar.

Diagram: How Torke Qualification works

Torke Qualification runs in steps: take the lead in, filter, read the message, score and route.

## What is inbound lead qualification?

Inbound lead qualification is deciding, for each person who contacts you, how ready they are to buy and what happens next: a meeting, a draft for a rep, or no reply. Torke Qualification makes that decision with written rules that give the same answer every time, shows a reason for every point of the score, and lets a model read only the free text that the rules could not, with every value it returns checked against the lead's own words.

## What happens to a demo request in the first hours?

The first hours after a demo request decide a lot of the deal. A buyer who asks on Tuesday morning and hears back on Thursday has often booked a call with someone else by then, and a reply that proposes a time the rep can't keep looks careless before the first conversation has started. Leads also arrive through six doors, the site form, email, LinkedIn messages, the website chat, Google Business messages and notes from phone calls, and in four languages, which is where a manual inbox slows down most.

Take the sample lead the engine is tested on. The head of marketing at a 40-person Zurich robotics company fills in the form in French at 08:05 on a Tuesday, says the budget is around CHF 60'000, that the team wants to start this month, and asks for a demo "mardi à 14h". On the test machine, the engine read the message, scored it hot, found Tuesday at 14:00 free and put it first with two other free times, held all three so the next lead can't be offered them, and drafted the reply in French with the times written the way a Swiss French reader expects. The full rule path takes between 4 and 12 milliseconds per lead on the six sample leads.

The rep sees one line instead of the message thread: language, company, team size, budget, the meeting asked for and whether it is free, the heat, and the time by which the lead has to be opened. If nobody opens it by then, an alert goes out once, and past the escalation threshold the lead moves to a named backup.

The speed only holds where a rule can be written down. A warm lead asking for documents rather than a meeting gets a draft for the rep, and a LinkedIn or Google Business message is always drafted for the rep to paste, because those channels can't be answered automatically. For your team, a hot lead stops waiting on whoever happens to check the inbox, and the leads that need judgment reach a person with the reasons already listed.

## How does Torke Qualification work?

Each step says who does it. Anything with a written rule runs in code, a model works only where judgment on free text is needed and always under a code check, and a person decides whatever someone must answer for.

### Take the lead in

Who does it

Code

What happens

It normalises the channel and threads a second message from the same person within three days onto the open lead, so nobody gets answered twice.

### Filter

Who does it

Code

What happens

Spam is dropped, and job seekers and vendor pitches are set aside for a person.

### Read the message

Who does it

Code and model

What happens

Patterns in English, French, German and Italian always run for team size, budget, urgency and the meeting asked for. The model fills gaps, every value it returns must quote the lead word for word or it is dropped, and when the two disagree the rule wins.

### Score and route

Who does it

Code

What happens

The same lead always gets the same heat, with a reason for every point, and goes to a rep by language, then segment.

### Check the calendar twice

Who does it

Code

What happens

Slots respect working hours, holidays, the lead's own business hours, notice, buffers and a daily cap. A second fresh calendar read just before sending removes any slot taken in the meantime.

### Write the reply

Who does it

Code and model

What happens

The model writes one opening sentence that may not contain a digit, date, time, price, link or promise. Greeting, slots and closing are written by code in the lead's time zone and language.

### Send or draft

Who does it

Code

What happens

A reply leaves on its own only when the lead is hot, or warm with a meeting request, the channel is email, the form or chat, a slot survived the second check and the final reply check passed. Every other reply waits as a draft.

### Review and book

Who does it

Person

What happens

The rep reviews drafts, opens leads before their deadline and books the slot the lead chose, after a third calendar check.

## What do you receive?

### A reply in the lead's language

Three meeting times that are free on the rep's calendar, written in the lead's language and time zone, sent automatically or drafted for the rep.

### One line per lead

Language, company, size, budget, the meeting asked for and the deadline to open it, in a queue sorted by deadline.

### Response clocks that escalate

Hot leads get a machine reply within 5 minutes at any hour and must be opened within 15 working minutes, warm leads within 60 minutes and 2 working hours, cold leads within 8 hours and 1 working day.

### A decision log

Every decision on a lead with the step that made it, rule or model, and a monthly count of how often each one decided.

## Where does it stop?

It never sends a LinkedIn or Google Business reply. It drafts it for the rep to paste.

It never replies automatically to a vendor pitch or a job application.

It never offers a time outside working hours, outside the lead's business hours, too close to now or too close to another meeting.

It books a meeting only after a third calendar check, so a slot filled in the meantime is never booked.

The model's reading can only move a lead toward a person's review, never toward an automatic reply, and if the model is slow or switched off the lead still runs the rule path.

## Who is it for?

Who gets the most from Torke Qualification, and when another tool or no tool is the better answer.

### A good fit

- A B2B team whose inbound demand arrives in more than one language and through more than one channel.
- A team where hot leads wait today because the person who answers them is in meetings.
- A sales team whose reps keep their calendars in Google Calendar.

### A poor fit

- A team that receives a handful of inbound messages a month and already answers each one the same morning.
- A team where nobody can own the scoring weights and response times, because those defaults then never become decisions that someone stands behind.

## Part of Torke Engine, and available on its own

Torke Qualification takes leads from your site form, chat, email, LinkedIn, Google Business and call notes, reads your reps' calendars and checks each company against your account book when it scores. It hands every qualified lead to your rep with a deadline, a reason line and verified meeting times, ready to be recorded in your CRM. It runs today as its own tool and is being brought into [Torke Engine](https://torke.tech/engine), which absorbs its nodes one milestone at a time.

Torke Qualification is a Torke Node, so you can run it on its own or inside Torke Engine with the other nodes, and add the others later without starting over.

## How much does Torke Qualification cost?

Three ways to run it. Prices are in Swiss francs, excluding 8.1 percent VAT, and media or third-party data you choose to add is billed at cost.

Run by Torke CHF 3’900

a month

- We operate Torke Qualification for you inside Torke Service: the setup, every run, the checks and a named operator who answers for the output each week. [How Torke Service works](https://torke.tech/service)

Rent it, where most teams start CHF 1’450

a month

- Your team runs it from its AI assistant or the command line. Setup, the first supervised run, updates and support are included, and you can stop with 30 days' notice. [Rent Torke Qualification](#get-in-touch)

Own it CHF 14’500

once

- A licence to run it on your own infrastructure with no monthly fee, the setup session included. Updates and support are optional at CHF 2’900 a year. [Ask about owning it](#get-in-touch)

## Where does it stand today?

The engine is built and its 25 unit tests pass, covering slot rules, holds between leads, the second calendar check, the three response clocks across nights and weekends, reading in four languages and the rejection of model values without a verbatim quote.

It runs in test mode today: replies are saved as email files rather than sent, and the calendar is a sample file until a Google Calendar is connected. The scoring weights, response times and currency rates are working defaults, and the model evaluation, with a pass bar of 0.90 and zero invented values, has not been run yet.

## What do teams ask about Torke Qualification?

Each answer stands on its own, so you can forward one to a colleague, and an assistant asked the same question can quote it as it is.

### What is inbound lead qualification?

Inbound lead qualification is deciding, for each person who contacts you, how ready they are to buy and what happens next: a meeting, a draft for a rep, or no reply. Torke Qualification does it with written rules that give the same answer every time and a reason for every point of the score.

### Can it send a wrong meeting time?

The model can't write a time at all. Every date and time in the reply is rendered by code from a calendar read made just before sending, and booking checks the calendar again.

### Does it work if the AI model is down?

Yes. The rule path reads, filters, scores, finds slots and drafts the reply without the model, so no lead waits on it.
