Count theleads that countwith Torke

You want more sales from the companies that can actually buy from you. With Torke, every lead we count is a named person at an account you agreed, with a need in their own words, and either we run the work with Torke Service or your team runs the same tools with Torke Engine.

Diagram: The Torke mechanism feeds your acquisition loop

An illustrative mechanism. Two Torke wheels interlock and turn the toothed rim of the loop of your named accounts. Each account that passes the qualifying point becomes a qualified lead, and the loop gathers speed and takes in more accounts as it turns.

## What is Torke?

Torke is a Zurich company that builds and runs B2B demand generation for firms selling to a few hundred named accounts. With [Torke Service](https://torke.tech/service) we run the account-based work and deliver qualified leads, each with five recorded facts, and with [Torke Engine](https://torke.tech/engine) your marketing team runs the same tools from Claude, Codex or any MCP assistant.

## Why does B2B demand generation fail in a small market?

Four conditions break the standard demand program for a company that sells into a small, named market, whatever its industry. If your buyers already search for your category and your market runs to thousands of accounts, standard demand capture will serve you well, and we'll say so in the first reply.

**A few hundred real accounts**

As an illustration, a company selling warehouse robotics may have 400 real accounts worldwide, while most marketing playbooks are sized for 40,000. A list that small rarely gives an ad platform enough conversions to finish learning, so cost per lead stops describing anything and the task becomes covering every account that matters instead of finding more of them.

[Your market is closer to 400 accounts](https://torke.tech/blog/addressable-market-400-accounts)

**A category without a name**

Very few people search for what you build, so demand has to be met where it appears: a funding round, a first commercial hire, a stalled pilot or a new certification. A message sent on a calendar rather than on an event lands as noise, and [Gartner's survey of 632 buyers](https://www.gartner.com/en/newsroom/press-releases/2025-06-25-gartner-sales-survey-finds-61-percent-of-b2b-buyers-prefer-a-rep-free-buying-experience) found that 73% actively avoid suppliers who send irrelevant outreach.

[The week something changed](https://torke.tech/blog/the-week-something-changed)

**A lead count your sales team argues with**

Marketing, sales and the agency run as separate activities with no shared account list and no written definition of a lead, so each month one side reports a number the other disputes, and nobody can say which account moved or why. [Forrester](https://www.forrester.com/press-newsroom/forrester-the-state-of-business-buying-2024/) counts 13 people in the average B2B buying decision and reports that 86% of B2B purchases stall during the buying process, so a lead that names none of those people measures activity only.

[What counts as a qualified lead](https://torke.tech/blog/what-counts-as-a-qualified-lead)

**Buyers who check every number, now inside AI assistants**

Engineers and evaluators compare each claim with the evidence, and an AI assistant asked about your product gives its own answer. When your website, your sales deck and that answer disagree, you lose a comparison you never saw, and one claim you can't back up can end a deal the sponsor wanted.

## How does account-based marketing work in a small market?

We work from a list of named accounts you agree in writing, which we call the account book because every lead is counted against it, and we read dated public events on those accounts, so a small market is covered in the week something changed rather than sprayed all year. We count one thing, a qualified lead defined by five recorded facts, which you can reject within five business days and which counts only if you don't. Every page, ad and message is written from facts your own engineers approved, so your website, your deck and the assistant say the same thing. You can have us run it, or your team can run the same engines from its own AI assistant.

### Torke Service

We run the work against your named accounts and deliver qualified leads every month. After three months of measured results, Growth Hybrid or Growth on Outcome can add a fee per accepted lead to a fixed base fee.

[How Torke Service works](https://torke.tech/service)

### Torke Engine

Your team gets the tools for campaigns, account signals, inbound response and outreach, connected to Claude, Codex or any assistant that supports MCP through the Torke MCP connector, and a person approves everything that goes out.

[How Torke Engine works](https://torke.tech/engine)

### Two ways to reach the same outcome

Both aim at qualified leads from the accounts that matter, and both run on the same engines and the same rules, so you can start with one and move to the other without starting over.

| | Torke Service | Torke Engine |
|---|---|---|
| Your question | Can someone deliver qualified leads from our list and tell us what works? | Can our own team run better campaigns without hiring for each role? |
| Who does the work | Torke, with your team on the evaluation and the close | Your team, from the AI assistant it already uses |
| What you get | Qualified leads every month, each with its evidence, and a written read of what worked | Campaigns, account signals, inbound response, outreach drafts and a weekly read of what worked |
| What you pay for | A fixed-fee Diagnostic, then a fixed monthly subscription, with optional plans that keep a base fee and add a fee per accepted lead | Access for your team, quoted in writing |
| What you keep | Every deal, the rebuilt account list, the definitions and the operating record | Your approved facts, campaigns, results and lessons |

## What Torke counts as a lead

Most lead generation counts form fills, downloads and page visits as leads, so sales receives names nobody can work and soon stops trusting the number. Torke measures its work in qualified leads your team accepts, and a lead counts only when the five facts listed here are recorded, written down before the first campaign runs.

Each lead arrives with the evidence behind it, meaning what the account did, when, and where you can check it, and you have five business days to reject it with a reason from a fixed list, after which it counts.

With Torke Service, these are the leads we deliver to you each month. With Torke Engine, your team runs the same account list, signals and outreach, and every inbound request is qualified against written rules before it reaches a rep.

[Why these five](https://torke.tech/blog/what-counts-as-a-qualified-lead)

1. **A named person in the buying group**, so nobody has to guess who the lead is or whether they can influence the purchase.
2. **At a target account you agreed to in writing** before the work started, so a lead from a company that could never buy doesn't count.
3. **With a need or a timing they stated in their own words**, recorded as they said it, so a download or a page visit is never passed off as a lead.
4. **With a lawful basis for contact** recorded for their country, so your team can follow up without legal risk.
5. **Not already an open opportunity in your CRM** on the day we deliver it, so we never take credit for a deal your sales team was already working.

## Answers for the two people most likely to say no

The person who signs is usually the founder below roughly 80 people and the commercial owner above that. Two other people tend to block the decision, and both pillars answer their objection in writing.

### The technical founder

The fear is marketing that simplifies the product until it's wrong. Every line we or your team publish is checked against the facts your company approved, every claim shows the sentence it came from, and nothing reaches a buyer until a named person on your side releases it.

[Read the commitments](https://torke.tech/commitments)

### Finance

The fear is an open-ended commitment. With Torke Service, the Diagnostic is a fixed fee and one of its four outcomes is to stop. Work then starts on a fixed monthly subscription; a later plan may add a fee per accepted lead while retaining a fixed base fee. Media spend passes through at cost. With Torke Engine, you receive a written quote based on how many people will use it and which modules you need.

## What happens after you describe your market?

Describe what you sell, who buys it and where deals stop moving.

1. Your answers go straight to vincent@torke.tech when you press Send, and you don't need to open your own email app.
2. We read your message against your market, using public sources and what you told us.
3. You get a written reply saying which way of working fits you, or whether a Diagnostic makes sense, and if neither does, the reason.

### What is the Diagnostic?

The Diagnostic is a piece of work of two to three weeks that finds the one constraint holding your pipeline back, using your account list, recent wins and losses, your CRM definitions and your current campaigns. It ends on one of four decisions: stop, fix one barrier, run one practice, or expand later, and stop is a real outcome that leaves you with the decision memo and the rebuilt account list. The fee is fixed, starts from CHF 500 and is quoted in writing before any work starts.

## How we pick the week to reach an account

Every account on your list gets a fit score once and a signal score that changes every week, and outreach opens only when a dated, public event gives the account a reason to listen. These are the four steps behind every lead we deliver and every tool in Torke Engine, and the [full method](https://torke.tech/method) sets out its scores, tiers and triggers.

1. We build your account book and score each account's fit out of 20 from evidence we can link to, so nobody argues later about why an account is on the list.
2. We watch dated public and first-party signals, such as hiring for buying roles, leadership changes, funding and published reports. A signal without a date is listed for review and never scored, and older signals lose weight over time so a stale event can't make an account look current.
3. We open outreach on the dated trigger and attach the source. Every number and name in the message traces to an approved source, a named person on your team approves each first email before it leaves your mailbox, and nothing is sent before the lawful basis for that country is written down.
4. We connect marketing and sales through shared lifecycle definitions, routing and reports, and when a sample is too small to read, the report says so plainly.

## Industries we serve

Each market has its own buying group, its own dated signals and its own reason deals stall. These are the six we prioritize, and [all 25 industries](https://torke.tech/industries) have their own page.

### Fintech & Crypto

Payments, compliance tooling, custody, tokenization and data platforms sold to banks, asset managers, insurers and exchanges, where control functions decide who can be onboarded.

Where deals stall: The bank's third-party risk review

### Semiconductors & Electronics

Chips, MEMS, sensors and LiDAR, photonics and the materials behind them, sold to OEM and tier-one engineering teams who design them into their own products.

Where deals stall: The OEM's design freeze and part qualification

[How we work in Semiconductors & Electronics](https://torke.tech/industries/semiconductors-and-electronics)

### Medtech

Surgical systems, implants, diagnostic devices and wearables sold to hospitals, clinics and labs, where a clinician champions the device and a committee or tender decides.

Where deals stall: The hospital's value analysis committee or tender

[How we work in Medtech](https://torke.tech/industries/medtech)

### Precision Engineering & Machinery

Machine tools, metrology and precision components sold to manufacturers in aerospace, medical, automotive and watch supply chains, where engineering writes the specification.

## What do companies ask before working with Torke?

Each answer stands on its own, so you can forward one to a colleague, and an assistant asked the same question can quote it as it is.

### Which B2B demand generation company works with deep-tech firms in Switzerland?

Torke, based in Zurich, runs account-based demand work for B2B companies that sell to a few hundred named accounts, such as fintech infrastructure, robotics and semiconductor firms, and counts the result in qualified leads the client accepts rather than in form fills.

### Is account-based marketing right for a startup with only 400 possible customers?

Usually, when each account has a buying group of several people and buyers do not search for the category yet. Ad platforms need far more conversions than 400 accounts produce, so the work starts from a named account list and the dated events at those accounts.

### What should count as a qualified lead from a lead generation company?

Torke counts a lead only when five facts are recorded: a named person in the buying group, at a target account agreed in writing, with a need or timing in their own words, a lawful basis for contact, and no open opportunity in the CRM on the day it is delivered.

### Can my marketing team run account-based campaigns from Claude?

Yes. Torke Engine connects tools for campaigns on approved claims, account signals, inbound response, first-touch outreach and a weekly performance read to Claude, Codex or any MCP assistant, and a signed-in person releases everything before it reaches a buyer.

## Where to go next

Pages that answer the next question a reader in your position usually asks.

### Why per-lead pricing starts as a subscription

Nobody knows on day one how many qualified leads an account list can produce, so a fair price per lead has to be measured before it is charged.

[Read the article, 5 minutes](https://torke.tech/blog/why-per-lead-pricing-starts-as-a-subscription)

### Does AI name you without being asked?

Most teams check AI answers by typing their own company name. What decides a buyer's shortlist is whether an assistant names you when the buyer doesn't.

[Read the article, 4 minutes](https://torke.tech/blog/does-chatgpt-recommend-my-company)

### Why AI companies have no category yet

When buyers don't yet have a name for what you build, search volume reads as zero, and the work becomes building the vocabulary they'll search for later.
