Editorial method

How Torke field notes are written and reviewed

The method keeps operating advice, source evidence and ownership boundaries distinct so a reader can see what the page supports and where the recommendation stops.

Four rules

What every field note must retain

If a statement cannot be inspected or assigned to an evidence type, the statement is removed or rewritten with its condition.

01

State the operating rule

The page names what should happen, the evidence required and the person responsible for the next action.

02

Keep conditions beside claims

A capability, test result and client result are treated as different evidence types. Conditions stay beside the statement they limit.

03

Separate source from interpretation

A linked source records the published fact. Torke's interpretation is written as an operating recommendation, not as part of the source.

04

Publish dates and review changes

Field notes show a publication date. Material editorial changes update the modified date in the page's structured data and sitemap.

Accountability

Named author and visible boundaries

writes and edits the field notes. Each article links to the author profile, the relevant Torke practice and this method.

The method does not turn Torke's operating model into independent research. Where a page does not cite a client result or third-party study, it says so directly.

Bring the live case
