Personalized cold emails with sources

Torke Reachout is a Torke Node, one part of Torke Engine, and you can buy or rent it on its own. It researches one named person, writes a first email built around what they said they want, and checks every sentence against the public source it rests on before a person on your team reads it.

How Torke Reachout works Torke Reachout runs in steps: research, verify, check the research, brief.

What is a personalized cold email?

A personalized cold email is a first message to someone who has never heard from you, written around something specific to that person, such as a post they wrote or a goal they stated in public. It works when the detail could only be about them and is accurate. It backfires when the detail is generic, because the reader sees a template, or wrong, because the reader stops trusting everything after it.

Why do personal emails to named buyers go wrong?

A personal email to a named buyer fails in two predictable ways. The research is shallow, so an opening built on a university, a funding round or a job title would work just as well for any of the company's four hundred peers, and the reader sees a template. Or the model fills a gap with something plausible, a figure slightly off or a customer nobody mentioned, and the reader catches it in the first line. A better prompt doesn't prevent either, because the model writing the email is also the one deciding whether it followed the instructions.

Torke Reachout splits that work. Two AI agents do the reading and the writing, where judgement is needed, and code checks everything that can be written as a rule, giving the same answer on every run. If a sentence says 400 and the source it cites says 340, the gate holds it. If a sentence names a company that appears nowhere in its evidence, the gate holds that too.

The node's test files follow a fictional prospect, Lena Brandt, VP Revenue at a fictional company called Example Robotics. Her research holds seven public sources, four written by her. In a post dated 18 September 2026 she wrote that her reps hear about new warehouse projects "from the press, three months too late", and on a June panel she said most lost deals were gone before the team knew there was a deal. The email the gate accepted opens on her own post, names what she wants, which is her team involved before a tender is written, and only then says in one sentence what the sender does. It closes on a single question she can answer in a line, and each sentence carries a tag pointing to its source, so a reviewer checks the whole email in a few seconds.

The code proves that an email is grounded. It cannot tell whether a hook matters to the person or whether the email reads well aloud, so a person on your team reads every draft before anything leaves. What changes for you is that a personal email no longer depends on how carefully someone researched that day: every message carries a trail back to the prospect's own words, and the weak ones stop at the gate.

How does Torke Reachout work?

Each step says who does it. Anything with a written rule runs in code, a model works only where judgment on free text is needed and always under a code check, and a person decides whatever someone must answer for.

  1. Research

    Who does it

    Model

    What happens

An agent reads the person's posts, talks, job ads and company news, and records each source with its link, date and exact quote, along with the goals, obstacles and words the person uses.

  2. Verify

    Who does it

    Code

    What happens

Code opens each link and confirms the quote is on the page. For pages behind a login it checks a copy the agent saved, and records that as weaker evidence.

  3. Check the research

    Who does it

    Code

    What happens

Code requires the identity confirmed on two different websites, no history as a client, open deal or competitor, a goal the person stated themselves linked to one of your approved offers, and at least one A-grade opening point. The result is ready, research more, or do not contact.

  4. Brief

    Who does it

    Code

    What happens

Code measures how the person writes, such as sentence length and formal or informal address, and condenses the research into a short brief.

  5. Write

    Who does it

    Model

    What happens

A second agent sees only the brief and writes three versions plus follow-ups, one sentence at a time, each sentence tagged with its role and its evidence.

  6. Gate

    Who does it

    Code

    What happens

Every number and proper name must appear in what it cites, anything inferred must be a question, and your company gets at most two sentences and 35 percent of the email. Flattery openers, fixed meeting slots, calendar links and copied runs of nine words or more are held, in English, German or French.

  7. Render and decide

    Who does it

    Person

    What happens

Approved emails are written to a file with their evidence table. Torke Reachout has no mail code, so a person on your team decides what to send.

What do you receive?

  • Three versions of the first email

Each built on the person's stated goal, in their language and close to their own sentence length.

  • An evidence table per email

Every sentence next to the source it rests on, with the URL and the date.

  • Follow-ups with their own rules

A follow-up that brings new evidence must cite a source the earlier emails didn't use, and a LinkedIn note stays under 300 characters.

  • A clear verdict when there is nothing to send

When the research is too thin, you get research more or do not contact, with the reason, instead of an email built on a guess.

Where does it stop?

It never sends and never logs into a website. It won't write to an existing client, an open deal or a competitor, and it refuses any claim about health, family, religion, politics or personal finances, in line with the Swiss data protection rule of collecting only what the purpose needs.

Your company can only describe itself through the lines you approve in one configuration file, and an email can cite a client result only once that result is approved. Tone is measured on the surface, from at least three texts the person wrote, and with fewer it falls back to company copy and says so. A draft that passes every check can still be flat, which is why a person reads it before it goes anywhere.

Who is it for?

Who gets the most from Torke Reachout, and when another tool or no tool is the better answer.

A good fit

  • A team selling to a few hundred named accounts, where each first email goes to one person and a wrong number in the opening line ends the conversation.
  • Buyers who post, speak on panels or sign job ads, because their own words are what the email is built from.

A poor fit

  • A team that needs volume across thousands of contacts.
  • Buyers who leave no public trace, because the research gate will return research more far more often than it returns an email.

Part of Torke Engine, and available on its own

Inside Torke Engine, Torke Reachout can take its opening trigger from the digest that Torke Signal writes, so the email goes out in the week something changed at the account. It describes your company only through offer lines you approved, held in one sender file per company.

Torke Reachout is a Torke Node, so you can run it on its own or inside Torke Engine with the other nodes, and add the others later without starting over.

How much does Torke Reachout cost?

Three ways to run it. Prices are in Swiss francs, excluding 8.1 percent VAT, and media or third-party data you choose to add is billed at cost.

  • Run by Torke

    CHF 3’900 a month

We operate Torke Reachout for you inside Torke Service: the setup, every run, the checks and a named operator who answers for the output each week.

Where does it stand today?

The research gate, the email gate and the full chain from research to rendered file are written, and the 33 automated tests passed on 15 October 2026, each feeding a known mistake to the checks or confirming that the fictional example passes. No run on a real prospect is recorded yet, so the first prospects go through the full chain with a person reviewing every rendered email.

What do teams ask about Torke Reachout?

Each answer stands on its own, so you can forward one to a colleague, and an assistant asked the same question can quote it as it is.

What is a personalized cold email?

A first message to someone who has never heard from you, written around something specific to that person, such as a post they wrote or a goal they stated in public. It works when the detail could only be about them and is accurate.

Does Torke Reachout send emails for us?

No. It has no mail code at all. Its last step is a file with the approved emails and their evidence table, and a person on your team decides what to send.

Can it write in German or French?

Yes. The research records the person's language and the address they expect, Sie or du, vous or tu, and the gate checks its patterns in English, German and French.

Bring us the problem, and we bring the solution to it

Tell us what your team sells, who buys it and where deals stop moving. You'll get a written reply saying which way of working fits you, or whether a Diagnostic makes sense, and if neither does, the reason.

What would you like to talk about?

Your answers go straight to Vincent's inbox at vincent@torke.tech, and no third-party form service handles them. So we can see which pages lead to a conversation, the site keeps your company name, the topic you chose, the pages you read before writing and the network, city and IP address of your request in a database in the EU. The IP address is deleted after 90 days and the rest after 395, and none of it is sold or shared.
