Which industries does Torke serve?

We work with companies that sell to a finite list of named accounts, most often exporters whose home market is too small to carry them, in the 25 industries below, listed in the order we prioritize them. Each page shows where deals stall in that market, who buys, the dated signals that open an account, and how Torke Service and Torke Engine each help, so you can see the work before we talk.

Markets you can name account by account The industries Torke prioritizes, Fintech & Crypto, Robotics & Industrial Automation, Semiconductors & Electronics, Medtech, Precision Engineering & Machinery, Cleantech & Energy, Cybersecurity, Wealth & Asset Management, arranged around the one method Torke runs in all of them.

How does go-to-market change by industry?

The buying group, the dated signals and the point where deals stall change with the market. A fintech vendor stalls in the bank's third-party risk review, a robotics company between one pilot site and a group rollout, and a chip supplier at the OEM's design freeze. Each page below shows those three things for one of 25 industries.

What these markets have in common

The same three conditions break volume marketing everywhere, and the same answer works: cover every account that matters, reach it in the week a dated event changed its situation, and trace every claim to evidence your engineers approved.

  • A few hundred real accounts

A company selling warehouse robotics may have 400 real accounts worldwide, while most marketing programs are built for 40,000, so ad platforms never collect enough conversions to finish learning.

  • A category without a name

Very few people search for what you build, so demand has to be met where it appears: a funding round, a first commercial hire, a stalled pilot or a new certification.

  • Buyers who check every number

Engineers and evaluators compare each claim with the evidence, so one claim you can't back up can end a deal the sponsor wanted.

What do teams ask about go-to-market by industry?

Each answer stands on its own, so you can forward one to a colleague, and an assistant asked the same question can quote it as it is.

How do I sell to hospitals as a medtech startup?

Expect a clinician to champion the device and a value analysis committee or a tender to decide, with physicians, nurses, administrators, supply chain, risk and purchasing in the room. The [Medtech page](/industries/medtech) shows the signals that open a hospital account.

How long is the sales cycle selling software to banks?

Practitioners at a Molten Ventures fintech roundtable advised staffing for a 9 to 18 month cycle, because compliance, risk, finance and leadership all have to agree, and since 17 January 2025 DORA has required EU financial entities to register their ICT third-party contracts.

Why is go-to-market harder for deep-tech companies?

They usually face a few hundred real accounts, a category buyers do not search for yet, and evaluators who check every claim, so volume programs built for tens of thousands of accounts never collect enough conversions to learn.

Bring us the problem, and we bring the solution to it

Tell us what your team sells, who buys it and where deals stop moving. You'll get a written reply saying which way of working fits you, or whether a Diagnostic makes sense, and if neither does, the reason.

What would you like to talk about?

Your answers go straight to Vincent's inbox at vincent@torke.tech, and no third-party form service handles them. So we can see which pages lead to a conversation, the site keeps your company name, the topic you chose, the pages you read before writing and the network, city and IP address of your request in a database in the EU. The IP address is deleted after 90 days and the rest after 395, and none of it is sold or shared.
