Buying signal alerts for your accounts
Torke Signal is a Torke Node, one part of Torke Engine, and you can buy or rent it on its own. Every morning it reads the news, job boards, official registers and, with your permission, your CRM for the companies you sell to, ranks them on what changed, and emails you only the ones with a dated reason to hear from you, each with the opener that reason supports.
What are buying signal alerts?
Buying signal alerts tell a sales team when a company it targets does something that changes what it needs, such as raising money, hiring a new executive, opening roles a product serves or visiting a pricing page. Torke Signal sorts every event into one of 47 signal types, ranks the accounts out of 100, and sends each entry with its date, the public link that proves it and a suggested next step.
Which accounts have a reason to hear from you this week?
A team that sells to a few hundred companies cannot read every press release, job posting and filing those companies publish, so it contacts them on a calendar instead, and most messages land in a week when nothing has changed for the reader. Torke Signal does that reading for you, waits for a dated event that changes what an account needs, and opens on that event.
The demo that ships with the node shows the alert side on a fictional warehouse robotics seller watching three invented companies. On the morning of the run, one of them had raised a CHF 40 million Series B to automate its Basel warehouses, and two outlets carried the story. Torke Signal treated the two articles as one event, kept the second link as corroboration, and put it at the top of the email with the play the catalogue suggests: reach the leader of the function the round funds, two to eight weeks after the announcement. Another watched company announced 140 layoffs, and the email listed it under a separate heading that says to hold outreach, because bad news scores nothing.
A saved run from 24 August 2026 shows the ranking side on four Swiss real estate companies watched for a real estate data product. The top account scored 48 out of 100 because someone from that company looked at the pricing page on 21 August, downloaded a benchmark on 22 August and read a use case on 23 August, so the suggested opener started from the pricing visit, the strongest event the company itself had caused. The second account scored 33.5, a point and a half under the group-program tier, so it received no paid budget that week.
Both runs also show where it can go wrong, and we list that here because a score is only useful when you know what can inflate it. A regulator's consultation about clearing houses was scored as a regulatory signal for all four real estate companies only because it contained the word "reporting", and in a live run on 19 October 2026 the phrase rules alone typed 18 headlines into three events while some, such as share price moves, stayed untyped. The optional model reader exists to close that gap, and it keeps an answer only when the words it quotes appear in the article.
What changes for your team is the morning. You start with a short, ranked email about the few companies that did something, each with its dated proof and a draft opener, and you stop writing to the ones that just cut staff.
How does Torke Signal work?
Each step says who does it. Anything with a written rule runs in code, a model works only where judgment on free text is needed and always under a code check, and a person decides whatever someone must answer for.

Your companies come in, scored for fit
Who does it
Code
What happens
From a list you hand over, from your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or a CSV file), or from discovery in public registers and the news, which adds at most 25 candidates a run, each with the URL that put it forward. Each company gets a fit score out of 20 against your ideal customer.
-
Public sources are read every morning
Who does it
Code
What happens
Company news feeds, public job boards, headlines that name the company, watched web pages, and the Swiss, UK and US registers. With your permission it also reads CRM conversations on companies with an open deal, so a customer writing that their budget is approved becomes a signal too.
-
Each item is typed, in code first
Who does it
Code and model
What happens
Register entries and job postings are typed by fixed rules, and headlines by phrase lists in English, German and French. When you switch it on, a small model types what the phrases miss, choosing from a closed list of 47 types and quoting text that code must find character for character.
-
Accounts are scored and given a treatment
Who does it
Code
What happens
The same event from several outlets becomes one signal, each signal family has a ceiling so ten job posts cannot outweigh one funding round, and points fade with a half-life set per type. At 60 points an account earns one-to-one attention, at 35 it joins a group program, and a gain of 20 points within 7 days raises a velocity alert.
-
The email and the openers are written
Who does it
Code
What happens
Funding, a new executive or a bankruptcy go out the same morning, and everything else waits for your daily or weekly digest. Each ranked account comes with a draft opener built from stored fields and a brief that sets what the final message may claim.
-
Your team decides who to contact
Who does it
Person
What happens
Torke Signal never contacts anyone on your behalf. A person on your team reads the email, sharpens the opener and decides whether to reach out.
What do you receive?
A morning email with dated proof
Each entry gives what happened, the date, the link that proves it, why it matters and the next step the catalogue suggests.
A ranked account list with openers
Every watched account with its score out of 100, its tier and the signal families behind it, plus a draft opener for the accounts worth contacting.
A hold list and velocity alerts
Layoffs and bankruptcies appear under their own heading so your team knows whom to leave alone, and a sudden 20-point jump is flagged even when the total is still low.
Notes in your CRM
One note per new signal on the company record, when you turn write-back on.
Where does it stop?
It reads only what is free and public, plus what you already own. It does not log into LinkedIn, gated portals or paid intent data services, and it never contacts anyone for you. A story that mentions a company only in passing is stored but never sent as something that company did, and the first run on a new account sends nothing, so your first email covers events after you started rather than a backlog.
Several CRM endpoints, including HubSpot note writes, Salesforce task writes and Pipedrive token sign-in, have been tested against recorded responses only, so each CRM connection gets a first supervised run on your account before sending is switched on. Every weight, half-life and cooldown is a starting value set in October 2026, the regulatory filter is still too broad, and drafts for the same kind of event read alike, which is why each opener comes with a brief for sharpening.
Who is it for?
Who gets the most from Torke Signal, and when another tool or no tool is the better answer.
A good fit
- A team selling to a few dozen or a few hundred named companies, where the week something changed decides whether a message gets read at all.
- An AI, robotics, sensing or data company whose category has too little search volume for demand capture to carry the pipeline.
- Target companies that publish in English, German or French and appear in Swiss, UK or US registers or in the press.
A poor fit
- Buyers who are private individuals rather than companies.
- Targets that leave almost no public trace, since a company with no news, no job board and no register filings can only rank on fit.
Part of Torke Engine, and available on its own
Torke Signal sits at the signal stage of Torke Engine and reads the shared catalogue of 47 signal types in Torke's company signals knowledge base. Torke Reachout can take its opening trigger from the Torke Signal digest, so a first email opens on a dated event, and Torke Router assigns the account-scoring steps of a signal-led campaign to it. Torke Engine already carries a ported version of its scoring, with tests that check it gives the same answers as the original.
Torke Signal is a Torke Node, so you can run it on its own or inside Torke Engine with the other nodes, and add the others later without starting over.
How much does Torke Signal cost?
Three ways to run it. Prices are in Swiss francs, excluding 8.1 percent VAT, and media or third-party data you choose to add is billed at cost.

Where does it stand today?
Torke Signal runs today as two parts we are joining into one node. The alert service works with all three company sources and all four CRM types, 93 offline tests pass, and a live run on 19 October 2026 read real SEC filings and news and produced a correct digest. The account ranking and opener part produced the 24 August 2026 run described above, has no automated tests yet, and needs a settings file for each new market. Before it runs for you, we write that file with you and do a first supervised run on your CRM.
What do teams ask about Torke Signal?
Each answer stands on its own, so you can forward one to a colleague, and an assistant asked the same question can quote it as it is.
What are buying signal alerts?
Buying signal alerts are messages that tell a sales team when a company it targets does something that changes what it needs, such as raising money, hiring a new executive or opening roles a product serves. Torke Signal sends them by email, each with the date and the public link that proves the event.
What is signal-based ABM?
Account-based marketing where an account is contacted when a dated event changes what it needs, such as a new executive, a hiring push, a funding round or a visit to your pricing page, rather than on a fixed schedule from a static list. Torke Signal ranks your accounts on those events every morning.
Does it send emails to prospects?
No. It emails your team about your prospects, and every message to a prospect is written and sent by a person on your side.
